Finding A Link Building Service

Search engine marketing is a very important part of website promotion, and within that field, link building is a very important aspect. This is done through a number of mediums including article submission, social bookmarking, directory submission, blog building and so much more.

You’ll find that to save time, hiring link building services is definitely a great idea. However, there are many different business that provide these services. So, how can you choose the best service for your needs?

Here are several helpful tips that will help you out when hiring link building services.

Tip #1 - Make Sure they Provide Linking Diversity

A key element of effective link building is to make it very natural in appearance. This means you need to have links from a wide range of sources, not just a huge number of links all from one method. A good service will make use of a variety of tactics to provide link popularity.

Tip #2 - Are They Up On Recent Methods

Link building methods have changed over time and what worked well 5 years ago doesn’t work so well today. You should read around on what are the most effective link building methods currently and check that your prospective service uses them.

Tip #3 - Make Sure The Links Are Kosher

Of course why you want the best possible link building from the company you hire, you want to make sure that the links are ethical. Make sure that the company has a good reputation and that they only use ethical links. You don’t want links that are going to look like spam and actually harm the reputation of your website in the future. So ensure that the service you use only uses ethical link building tactics.

Tip #4 - Find A Service Others Recommend

You can check out the reputation of any given link building service by simply asking around. If you have a mentor online then ask them, ask around in forums, read testimonials etc. All of these will give you an idea whether others have found a given service to be of use or not.

Tip #5 - Get Testimonials

Find out if the company will let you speak to previous clients and ask them what they thought. If possible verify that these are real clients and not just props. The company may list their own testimonials on the site and these are well worth reading.

Tip #6 - Who Links To The Linkers?

Find out who is linking to the link service themselves. If they are really good in the industry, then they should have looked after themselves well. If you can’t find reasonable numbers of incoming links then they may not be as good as they pretend.

Tip #7 - Cross Check The Costs

Comparing pricing of different link building services is extremely important. Various companies charge different rates, and there are many different pricing plans hat are available. You’ll want to find out the alternatives that you have when it comes to pricing and then figure out which options are going to be right for you. However, don’t just take the word of one company on prices. Do your homework and compare the prices of several companies to see which company can offer the best link building service for your money.

Locating a top link building service that you can work with is not easy, and is certainly worth doing thorough homework on as it involves your future prosperity. I hope these guides will aid you in this and make the whole process a little easier.

Simple Steps to Increase Web Profits

Whatever Your Visitors Want, Give it to Them

Too many times a web master will create a site that has meaningless information about their business. The problem is, web traffic cares less about your business and more about the what they want. Don’t appeal to their interests, and you’ve lost them.

So how do you appeal to these visitors? The easy answer, “Give them what they want.” The more important question you should ask is, “What do my visitors want?” To answer this question, you need to research three imperatives, 1)Who are your visitors? 2)What attracted them to your site originally? 3) What do they want when they come to your site? Once you know who your visitors are, what attracted them and what they are interested in, it becomes very simple to attract and retain them.

The next question, “How do I find this out about my visitors?” There are plenty of tools you can use to do this. First, ask them. Open up a dialogue with your visitor and find out more about them point blank. A second way way to learn more about your customers is by using traffic analysis software such as Google Analytics. Not only will this software track the number of customers and the number of pages accessed, but it will also show pinpoint locations where your visitors reside, how long visitors spend on your site, how often they return to your site, as well as the amount of visitors who come to your page and immediately exit it. With this valuable information it becomes much easier to provide unique and quality content that your customers will love.

Build Traffic

The great thing about finding out who your customers are and what they want is that it becomes a catalyst to building traffic. However, this alone will not maximize the amount of traffic you can receive. There are as many ways to build traffic as your creativity allows. By targeting the right traffic you’ll be increasing your profits in no time.

Albeit a slow method, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a necessary tool for the traffic hungry enthusiast and to build your website profits. In a short definition, SEO is about bringing relevant traffic from search engines (Like Google) to your website. The more valuable, unique and search engine friendly your content on your website is the more traffic you’ll see from the search engines.

Gear your website to make money

While you want to provide your web traffic with the content that they want, you also need to make it easy for them to make you more money. Does your website make it difficult for your visitors to sign up for a membership or make a purchase? Why? Make it easy for them, and your visitors will respond appropriately.

Keep your website clean by only providing content that your customers want, and what you want your customers to do. Draw your visitors attention to a profitable action by using proper design such as color, contrast and varying fonts. Don’t forget to try new ways on different web pages to get your visitors attention.

The number of methods you can use to increase customer action seems enless. A few of the many worthy mentionables are branding, cross promotion, A/B testing and improving your call-to-action. The Greatest Marketing Idea of All Time

I saw a sales page dealing with Viral Marketing. The author made some claims that made me skeptical. Then I started reading about a new Viral Marketing Idea which was about as different as anyting that I had ever seen.

This viral marketing strategy starts with the e-book being given away for free without even asking for your e-mail address or name. That is almost unheard of in modern Internet Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the most popular ways of making money online. There are thousands and thousands of products that you can promote and sell. Many products have a generous percentage given to the affiliate. Some even 70-100% of the cost to the consumer.

The key to getting started with this revolutionary strategy is to pick an affiliate product which is something that would be considered to be an impulse type product that will solve a pressing problem for the end buyer. Once the niche and the product are chosen, other related and associated products are selected which have resale rights.

It used to be that you MUST be listed high in the Search Engines. Not anymore with this strategy. All marketing is done in a viral method. Free items are ALWAYS given away as an inducement.

You want to promote your affiliate products in a low key style by weaving the links to your affiliate products throughout the document.

Once you have completed the article, you will give this article away for free to many ezine publishing sites. The distribution will be viral.

This unique strategy will work even better with articles than e-books. Articles can be written in massive numbers and easily distributed. The article can pre-sell the e-document.

To study the specifics of this strategy, it is suggested that the free e-book be downloaded and analyzed in detail.

Does Article Submission work as SEO to increase rankings?

Let me tell you my story. On November 20, 2008 I started a website called http://www.article-submission-express.com. This site is actually for a service I offer for article submissions. Basically what we do is solicit clients who want to increase their search engine rank by getting one way text links to their website. Today as I write this it is December 7, 2008. I am now ranked 101 on Google for the term Article Submissions.

The sole way of promoting this site was with Google Advertising, which I use a very low budget for and then submitting articles, such as this, that describe how the technique works. The idea of the article I am writing today is not to promote my site, but to describe how easy it is to use article submission to get ranked.

Just to see what was going on with my search engine rankings today and I found when I searched for article submissions that there were 15,200,000 search results. I thought to myself, wow, how can I ever rank in these results. I started clicking through them anyway just to see if there was a site, similar to mine, that would be in the results. When I got to page 11, I found there was a purple link, like I had been on the site before. Upon closer look I found that it was my website! After just two weeks and three days, I got to position 101. I also have to mention that I was indexed by Google in 3 days after creating the site. I would say article submission generates incredible results, especially when done right.

I have studied all the gurus of SEO. I studied Aaron Wall, Brad Callen and Brad Fallon. I think these folks are the real people that know what they are doing. I started a few sites, and began experimenting with their different recommended techniques. I have to say of all the methods I have tried, article submissions, and Google Ads have brought me the most results.

I used code based things such as TrafficBoosterPro which worked for a few days for a keyword on another site I had, but then Google penalized my site, and guess what, I have NEVER recovered. I also tried reciprocal linking, which is controversial, in that Google may not count the links. I am starting to tend to agree, the site I did that on has not ranked at all. I even developed two sites where I build links to one and didn’t to the other, but made them on the same topic (they are not duplicate websites), guess what for words they have in common, the one with no links to it is outranking the one that I have actually optimized.

So far on my current site, http://www.article-submission-express.com, I have done two things. I bought Google ads that convert to promote my site until I can get a good organic listing. For those who don’t know Organic Listings are the ones in Google that are free, and you don’t pay per click. Then I submitted articles just like this one to as many directories as possible with a link back like you see below in my resource box.

This is the most success I have ever had. I did no press releases (which I believe to work, but I haven’t tried because of cost.) I did no link building, I didn’t join a link farm, I didn’t make link bait, I didn’t trade links. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even put a page on there that you could like to me. I didn’t put this in social networking sites or anything. Why not, couldn’t I and increase my rankings? Maybe, but right now what I have done this far is working, and therefore I am going to keep doing what I am doing and monitor my results. The best part is, now I am 101 in Google, so I can monitor my results. My next article will probably be a report on what this article did for my rankings.

I wish you all the best of look in your optimization efforts. If you are at all interested in having articles submitted, you can do it my way, or you can do it manually. My website as I said earlier does offer this service and you can get a link to it in the article below. Either way I want you to take away from this article that article submission works for SEO. Again, this article is not promoting my site, but promoting that the method works.
